Here at The Training Foundry in the centre on Sheffield, we have selected a range of subsidised courses that will provide new career skills for people who are either facing redundancy or are already out of work. Course fees from as little as £98, includes course materials, lunch, refreshments and post course help line facility.
We run a range of vendor accredited courses leading to qualifications, from Microsoft, Adobe and Cisco that will enhance your CV and provide you with the skills you need to work in a number of IT related professions.

Working with the Web

If you have a flair for Art and Design, or want to work in the Digital Industry, then you could benefit from learning about some of the market-leading software in this field. One of Kick Start courses or a two day introduction course to one of the Adobe Suite of programs would help you.

Technical Support

If you are planning to get into IT Technical Support as a career then a qualification from Microsoft could help your chances and update your skills. Microsoft is releasing a brand new qualification called "Microsoft Technology Associate" later this year. This series of courses are designed as an entry level qualification and help you take the first step toward building a successful career in technology.

Network engineer

The Cisco Networking Academy CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration courses, which require up to 20 days training, provide the experience needed to help meet the global demand for qualified ICT candidates to design, install, and manage these networks. NB: This is already subsidised at £100 per day.

Information worker

In almost whatever career you decide to follow you are going to come across computers. An understanding of basic word-processing and spreadsheets will always improve your employment prospects. Microsoft offer certification in Microsoft Office products in all versions. A two day introduction course will prepare you for exams in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook or Access.
