Multimedia documentation of event.
As multimedia designer and researcher I was invited to observe and record the event using video and photography. The aim was that, by combining this with text from writer/curator Mònica Gaspar, I would create an engaging, durable and accessible documentation of the event.
Creating this web site has been a vast, complex but interesting challenge; how to distil over 300 images and around 8 hours of video into something meaningful. In the above picture you can see my office with my all-important whiteboard with a grid of the website content, one computer with the website and images, the other processing the video... in the shadows is my dog on her beanbag waiting patiently to go out for a walk!
Only time will tell the 'status' of this piece I have created, when I find out whether it is meaningful to others...
